RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC Stateis off to a 1-1 after two games that left plenty of question marks on both sides of the ball. The Wolfpack handled Western Carolina -- an FCS opponent -- behind three fourth-quarter touchdowns after trailing after 45 minutes. Then the Pack imploded on national television in a 51-10 manhandling in Charlotte against Tennessee to drop to .500 on the season.
The time is now for NC State to start the bounce back with the Bulldogs coming to town before the Pack travels down to Clemson next Saturday for the ACC opener. Before the contest kicks off, here's a look at the full game information along with a preview of what to expect on the field.

Game Notes
The Wolfpack and the Bulldogs have played twice, with both games taking place at Carter-Finley Stadium.
• The first meeting between NC State and LaTech was the season opener of 2013. That game marked Dave Doeren's first game as head coach of the Wolfpack and was a 40-14 victory for the home Pack
• The two teams also met in Raleigh in 2021, when the No. 23 Pack won a close one over the Bulldogs, 27-24.
• LaTech head coach Sonny Cumbie played quarterback at Texas Tech from 2001-04. Wolfpack offensive coordinator Robert Anae was the offensive line coach for the Red Raiders during Cumbie's career, while special assistant to the head coach Ruffin McNeill was the assistant head coach for TTU.
• NC State is one of just five programs in the Power 4 that has won eight or more games in each of the last four seasons.
• Head coach Dave Doeren is in his 12th season at NC State - tied for the sixth longest tenure among current FBS coaches.
• The Wolfpack has sold out 15 straight games (including the season opener vs. Western Carolina and this week's game vs. La Tech) - the longest sellout streak in school history. The Northern Illinois and Duke contests are also sold out, which means by NIU that streak will be 16 straight.
• Ten Wolfpack players are on the preseason watch lists for 15 national awards.
• Each of the Wolfpack's position coaches returned for the 2024 season. The defensive staff is now entering its fifth season together.
• Four players on the Wolfpack offense who played their first game for the Wolfpack against Western Carolina had all playedagainstNC State previously in their careers.
• In the past three seasons, no other P4 school has picked off more passes than the Wolfpack. NC State has tallied 53 interceptions in the 2021, '22, '23 and '24 seasons combined.
• NC State leads the nation in consecutive PATs made. The Wolfpack hasn't missed an extra point since the regular season finalé of the 2017 season - 254 straight.
• NC State has won 24 of its last 28 games in Carter-Finley Stadium.
• Receiver KC Concepcion crossed the 1,000 receiving yards mark for his career last week vs. Tennessee - his 15th career game. Only Koren Robinson made it to that mark quicker in his career for the Wolfpack (13 games, 1999-2000).
